Purpose: To serve the Deen of Allah (swt) by providing an outlet for the Muslim youth of our locality to learn about Islam; to foster the spiritual, mental, intellectual, emotional, and physical growth and understanding of the children; to comfortably interact and exchange ideas with their teachers and peers; and to instill within children a passion to not only learn, understand, and become proficient in but also develop a sweetness and yearning for the pursuit of knowledge of the Islamic sciences.
The participants of the program range from 40-60 children aged 4-16 years of age, and are separated according to level of cognitive development, depending on the subject.
The program is run by the UCD MSA and Imam Nawaz Khan of the Islamic Center of Davis and consists of volunteers who teach various subjects.

Classes include:
-Arabic -Quran Memorization -Aqeeda (Basics of Creed of Islam) -Seerah (Life of Prophet Muhammad, sws) -General 'Ibadah (Worship) and Adab (manners)
Levels:
-Beginning -Intermediate -Advanced
Sunday School takes place at the Islamic Center of Davis once a week on Sundays, unless otherwise stated. Therefore, the program is in need of volunteers from 10 AM to 1:30 PM, and depending on your availability you may arrange to stay for only a portion thereof.
